Camping OPENS MAY 1st at Noon MST
Camping opens May 1st! Camping will be hosted by Trail Hero at the Washington County Fairgrounds, Hurricane, Utah. All camping is set for the full week of the event at a discount. We will have reservations for 30amp and 50amp hook-up sites as well as Primitive Camp Sites, Group Sites, and the new Overland Camp. PLEASE NOTE: Camping at the state park is no longer part of Trail Hero. ALL camping offered for the event will be at WASHINGTON COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS, Hurricane, Utah. For full hook up sites or sites closer to the trails, we suggest staying with our partner, "The Official Camping Park of Trail Hero" Zion Jellystone RV Park.
Event site and camping layout for 2025
Camping at Trail Hero's event location is incredibly convenient and includes several types of affordable camping options. Options include full hook ups with (Power, Sewer, and Water), Partial hook ups (Power and Water), Group Sites, and Single Primitive sites. The sites are close to the Music Festival Area, Vendor Expo area, and Trail Line ups. This is the ideal location if you plan to enjoy a few beers in the Venue Wide Beer Garden at the Vendor Expo.
Greater Zion is an amazing source of information on where to stay which includes Hotels, Vacation Rentals, Camp Grounds, RV Parks, Bed and Breakfasts, Resorts, Glamping, and Unique Stays! Whatever your travel rhythm looks like, you’ll find a stay that feels just right. Just make sure you are looking for options in the Hurricane or Washington city areas as those are the closest cities to the event site.
There is free primitive camping allowed in Long Valley, which is close to the mountain. You can get there by exiting "Washington Damn Exit" and turning Right. Follow that road to the right. The area is first come first serve, very dusty, and high traffic, but free. If it rains, do not enter this area as it can become very soft and you can get stuck easily.
