Force Majeure Ticket Refund & Cancellation Policy
1. General "Rain or Shine" Policy
The Festival is a "Rain or Shine" event. No refunds will be issued for inclement weather unless the Event Organizers, in consultation with local authorities (e.g., Fire Marshal, National Weather Service), determine that conditions pose a direct threat to public safety and necessitate a full cancellation.
2. Force Majeure Defined
A "Force Majeure Event" is any occurrence beyond the Festival’s reasonable control that makes holding the event impossible, illegal, or unsafe. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Natural disasters (floods, wildfires, hurricanes, earthquakes).
- Public health emergencies (pandemics, government-mandated quarantines).
- Civil unrest, acts of terrorism, or war.
- Governmental orders, strikes, or utility failures.
3. Refund Eligibility & Procedures
In the event of a Force Majeure cancellation, the following protocols apply:
- Full Cancellation: If the entire Festival is cancelled prior to the start of the first day, Ticket Holders will be eligible for a refund of the base ticket price. Service fees, shipping costs, and processing fees are non-refundable.
- Partial Cancellation (Multi-Day Events): If the Festival has already commenced and is forced to cancel mid-event, refunds will be issued on a pro-rata basis (e.g., if Day 3 of a 3-day festival is cancelled, a 33% refund of the base ticket price will be issued).
- Rescheduling: If the Festival is postponed to a future date, tickets will remain valid for the new date. Ticket Holders who cannot attend the rescheduled date will be given a specific "Request Window" (14–30 days) to apply for a refund.
4. Exclusions
Refunds will not be issued for:
- Lineup Changes: The Festival lineup is subject to change without notice. The cancellation of a specific headliner or artist due to Force Majeure does not entitle the Ticket Holder to a refund.
- Travel Costs: The Festival is not responsible for any personal travel, lodging, or incidental expenses incurred by the Ticket Holder.
- Voluntary Absence: No refunds are provided if a Ticket Holder chooses not to attend due to fear of weather or personal reasons not mandated by law.
5. Refund Processing
All approved refunds will be credited back to the original method of payment within 30 to 60 days of the official cancellation announcement. No cash refunds will be issued on-site.
